The communal celebration of the Anointing of the Sick is a good practice in that it unites the community to pray for its sick members. Anointing of the Sick can be administered to any Catholic who has reached the age of reason and is awaiting serious surgery, suffers from serious illness or is weakened by old age or affected by some serious forms of mental illness.
St. James the Apostle Parish will offer a Communal Celebration of the Anointing of the Sick in the church on Sunday, February 9th at 10 A.M., between the 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. Masses. Please join us for a time of healing and blessing.
