We begin the Season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, March 2nd. Masses with the distribution of Ashes will be offered at 8 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Prayer and Fasting for Peace on Ash Wednesday

Speaking at the end of the General Audience on Wednesday, February 23rd, Pope Francis invited everyone to make March 2nd, Ash Wednesday, a Day of Fasting for Peace.

“I encourage believers in a special way to dedicate themselves intensely to prayer and fasting on that day. May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from the madness of war,” he said.
