A Letter to our St. James Parishioners
Dear Fellow Parishioners,
This message is sent with sincere wishes for a most happy new year!
As the 2022 calendar unfolds, you may have noticed Easter is celebrated on April 17th; which means the Lenten season begins a bit later as well, on March 2nd.
As a result, the Knights of Columbus Annual “40 Cans for 40 Days of Lent” Food Drive, along with the St. James the Apostle Parish Food Drive, both benefitting the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry (GEFP), will occur in March, rather than February. We want to make you aware of these changes. More information will follow in the next weeks. Please commit to make this Lenten Season more positive for those who face hunger as a frequent reality.
With gratitude for your generosity,
Christine Bollettino, Parishioner and GEFP Board Representative
Ray Klein, Parishioner and Knights of Columbus Representative
