Changes Effective on Friday, June 11th: The state of Illinois is expected to enter Phase 5 on Friday, June 11, which means that all sectors of society will fully reopen. The Diocese of Joliet will follow Illinois public health guidelines effective June 11, assuming the state does enter Phase 5.

Therefore it is with great joy that we write today to let you know as of the weekend of June 12/13 there will no longer be pre-registration for Masses or Reconciliations. We will be open for full capacity so you can just come to church, as you did in pre-pandemic times!

As we have done during this Bridge Phase, we will retain a couple of sections in the church for those who want to maintain six-foot distancing from other households. The rest of the church will be open seating.

Dispensation: The dispensation to attend Sunday Mass remains in place for the time being, with the intention of providing our parishes and our parishioners the opportunity to navigate and adjust to these new guidelines and protocols.

Stay Tuned! More details will follow next week as to the other protocols that will change in the church with this transition to new public health guidelines beginning on June 11.

Want to come to Mass this weekend, but didn’t register? Anyone who wants to attend Mass this weekend is welcome-even if you didn’t register. We will simply need to take down your name and phone number for this one last weekend.
