We are happy to share with you a short video about what it will look like when you return to public worship at St. James beginning or after Monday, July 6th.
We wanted to provide you with a visual overview of what you can expect. All the nitty gritty details of attending are found in the printed guide we mailed to registered parishioners and can also be downloaded/and or printed by clicking on the file link below the video link.
One of the most significant changes is the requirement to pre-register for Masses and Sacramental Celebrations. On Friday, June 26th at 1 p.m. we will release the weekly sign-ups for the Masses and Reconciliations scheduled between July 6 – July 12. This will subsequently happen for the following weeks every Friday at 1 P.M. and it will be sent in a Flocknote, as well as posted it on our website here: https://stjamesge.org/reopening-pre-registration-for-mass-and-sacramental-celebrations/. Registrations will close a week after their release on Fridays at 12 Noon or when we reach capacity, which ever happens first.
We will reserve a number of seats for phone-in registrations for those without computer access. In addition, those who require seating in the handicap section or have special needs will need to phone in for their registration so that we may anticipate any extraordinary accommodations you may require. For phone-in registrations, please call (630) 469-7540, ext. 211 anytime after 1 P.M. on Fridays. If your call isn’t answered, please leave a message with your name and number and your call will be returned within one business day. These seats will be registered on a first call, first serve basis.
Finally, a big thank you to all the parishioners who generously gave of their time to help us with this production! We couldn’t have done it without you!
So without further ado we present…Welcome Back to St. James the Apostle Church: New Guidelines for Attending Mass and Sacramental Celebrations.
