Good afternoon!
We begin today by sharing the photo above with some of the Holy Father’s words from his address last Friday from Rome. His message in its entirety is very powerful and moving and can be accessed in text form here: https://www.americamagazine.org/faith/2020/03/27/read-pope-francis-urbi-et-orbi-address-coronavirus-and-jesus-calming-storm

PALM SUNDAY MASS, the TRIDUUM and EASTER
We have confirmed that you will be able to watch a recording of Palm Sunday Mass in our beloved church, celebrated by our very own pastor, Fr. David Hankus on our new parish YouTube Channel. The following week, we will offer the liturgies of the Sacred Triduum, as well as Easter Sunday. Watch this week’s Flocknotes for more information and for a link.
HOLY SATURDAY BLESSING OF FOOD BASKETS
Fr. David to Offer Easter Food Basket Blessings on Holy Saturday at 12 Noon Utilizing a Drive-Through Method
On Holy Saturday at 12 Noon, parishioners are invited to arrive in their cars in a drive-through manner to the front of the church, where Fr. David will bless your Easter Food Baskets.
If you would like to participate, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1) For the sake of safety, please enter the church parking lot from Fawell Blvd, not from Park Blvd.
2) Cars should line up by 12 Noon in a line which will drive slowly by the front of church, where Fr. David will keep a six foot distance from all cars.
3) For the safety of all people, please remain in your cars.
4) Keep your basket on the passenger side of your car, either held by a passenger or set on the seat if you are alone.
5) As you prepare to drive up to Fr. David, please roll down the passenger side window, pause for a short prayer and sprinkling of the baskets with holy water.
Once all the cars that are lined up at 12 Noon have received their blessing, Father will be finished.
Thank you for your cooperation as we seek to find ways to bring you joy, hope and love as we prepare for Easter!
