In honor of “Respect Life Month,” the Knights of Columbus Council #9806 will host a showing of the movie Unplanned on Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00 pm in St. James Hall.
This film “speaks to one of the most polarizing topics of our time.” Unplanned brings us an eye-opening look inside the abortion industry through one woman’s inspiring true story of transformation.”
“All Abby Johnson ever wanted to do was help women. She believed in a woman’s right to choose, and as one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation, she was involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions. Until the day she saw something that changed everything, leading Abby Johnson to join her former enemies …and become one of the most ardent pro-life advocates in America.”
This is an R-rated movie due to the graphic depictions in certain scenes and is probably not appropriate for young children. Nevertheless, this is an important film for Catholics. St. James parishioners are invited along with friends and neighbors who might want to view this film. There is no charge. The film is sponsored by St. James the Apostle Knights of Columbus.
