Nothing says summer like a refreshing salad dinner along with sharing a Box Of Joy with children around the world! Please join the Council Of Catholic Women of the West DuPage Deanery on Tuesday, July 16th at 6 p.m. for our Shared Summer Social Service Project at St. Irene’s Catholic Church, Lower Level Activity Center 28W441 Warrenville Rd. A light salad supper will be provided as we pray over the women attending who will assemble the Boxes of Joy items we have been collecting to send to children around the world at Christmas!
This Cross Catholic OUTREACH ministry has been our CCW focus throughout the Diocese of Joliet for the past 2 years and has brought much JOY to all the participants as well as the children who receive these gifts, many of whom this will be the only or FIRST gift they’ve ever gotten. Come to share fellowship as we assemble these boxes and see an inspiring video that will warm your heart as children from Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic smile with JOY!
