Thank you so much…to all the generous parishioners who have taken empty bags to fill for the children of St. John Paul II Parish in Kankakee. The children look forward to the gifts your kindness provides. Please be sure to return your filled bags with items for a child in need to the St. James Church coatroom no later than December 25. Parish families will deliver the bags to Kankakee the last week of December. (Please let us know if you would like to drive with us!)  

If you were unable to pick up an empty bag but would still like to donate please fill any sturdy shopping bag with toys and staple a note on the front which states the age range and if it is for a boy or girl (or either) and drop it off in the coatroom. We are looking to bring toys to about 200 children!
