The Month of August is St. James the Apostle Food Donation Month
Thank you St. James members for your strong support which enables the pantry to furnish food to low income families, seniors, single parents, people with disabilities and the homeless. Through June 2018 the pantry distributed food to those in need estimated at $820,556.
Food donations help fill our shelves. Time donations help assist clients, stock our shelves and pick up food donations from our local business partners. Money donations allows the pantry to purchase of milk, eggs, meats, paper and hygienic products.
Our most needed items at this time are as follows: Cooking Oil, Chicken Broth, Coffee, Flour, Peanut Butter, Ketchup, Mayo, Toilet Paper.
During the summer months additional food is given to families with children to help replace the school lunch programs. This increases the amount of food needed to fulfill the demand. Listed above are the core items needed at this time.
Non-perishable donations may be dropped off in the Coat Room of the church. Again, thank you for the generous help. We pray God will bless you.
