Dear Friend of St. James the Apostle Catholic School,
I am saddened to announce that Mrs. Mary Kathryn Warco, Principal of St. James the Apostle Catholic School for the past three years, will be leaving our school community on June 30. Happily, Mrs. Warco will serve as principal of St. Walter Catholic School in Roselle, Illinois. She will begin this exciting ministry on July 1, 2018.
To ensure a seamless leadership transition, the Diocese of Joliet Catholic Schools Office and I will work closely with the St. James Principal Search Committee to find an excellent candidate who will serve as the next distinguished leader of our school.
One critical aspect of the principal search involves eliciting the ideas of parishioners regarding leadership qualities that are necessary to address the present and future needs of our school. To accomplish this task, the Catholic Schools Office has designed an online community survey instrument. The results of this survey will be carefully studied by the Search Committee and will be used both to create a Principal Profile and to design first and second-round interview protocols.
Your input is critical to the St. James the Apostle Catholic School Principal Search! Please share your thoughts with us regarding desired principal attributes by clicking on the link below.

Completing this survey will require seven-ten minutes of your time. The instrument will be posted from April 26, 2018, through midnight on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Thank you in advance for your support and assistance as I prayerfully discern the next spiritual and instructional leader of St. James the Apostle Catholic School.
Yours in Christ,
Father David
