Pilgrimage to Fatima

On March 9, Fr. David will be making a week long pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal, the town where in 1917 our Blessed Mother appeared to three children with a message to pray the Rosary for peace in the world. The Blessed Virgin Mary in her messages always encourages us to pray for peace, conversion and a greater love for her Son, Jesus.  Father will be celebrating Mass during his time there and invites you to write any petitions you would like for him to bring to the altar. You may write them on the lines on page 2 of  last weekend’s bulletin and put this form in an envelope marked “Fatima Pilgrimage.” If you wish for your petitions to remain confidential, please add “Confidential” to the envelope.  It will then not be opened but will be included in my prayers and Masses there.

All petitions need to be submitted to Fr. David at the Ministry Center by Wednesday, March 7.  You may also e-mail your petitions to me if you wish. His e-mail address is: frdavid@stjamesge.org  If you have any confidential petitions, please use the written form in the bulletin and not the e-mail format.  Please keep Fr. David in your prayers during the pilgrimage and he will remember all of you in his. Thank you.
