As Deacon Matt prepares to retire, we take the time to reflect upon how we have been truly blessed to receive his service at so many moments of our lives.  He has been present with us at the Table of the Lord, the Baptisms of our children, our time of preparation for Marriage, Mission Trips to Tohatchi, summer days filled with Vacation Bible School, RE Classes  as  Director of Religious Education, training of our parish Altar Servers, at the breaking open of the Word at Friday Communion Services and in so many other countless  unseen acts of service.

 

Please join us as we bid farewell to Deacon Matt and his wife Margo as they embark on their new adventure of retirement in Tennessee.

 

This weekend, Deacon Matt will be present at all of the weekend Masses. and at a reception with refreshments in St. James Hall following each Mass.

 

Please note: the reception following the 11 a.m. Mass will feature a menu of Deacon Matt’s favorite foods.
