Pope Francis calls Catholics to reach out to the marginalized, the immigrants and the forgotten. In response, Bishop Conlon created a plan to increase Evangelization, Discipleship and Charity within each parish in the diocese. St. James the Apostle is answering this call by partnering with the World Relief DuPage resettlement agency to create a community garden on our beautiful grounds to benefit the WRO’s immigrant and refugee clients.
We are in need of volunteers to help plan and manage our new garden. If you are interested in being a part of this important outreach or would like to learn more, please email Lisa Orwig at lisa.mirabella007@gmail.com or call 630.559.5500.
