Exposition of the holy Eucharist acknowledges Christ’s marvelous presence in the Sacrament. The Eucharist is a priceless gift. Time spent quietly in prayer during Exposition is an affirmation of our faith. We give witness to our belief that God is truly dwelling with His people, and we are inspired and strengthened to take on life’s challenges. The Church’s ritual is “careful to avoid anything which might somehow obscure the principal desire of Christ in instituting the Eucharist, namely, to be with us as food, medicine, and comfort.”

There are two remaining dates during this liturgical year when the parish will be invited to participate in this devotion immediately following the 11:00 a.m. Mass. The next opportunity will be on Laetare Sunday, the 4th Sunday in Lent, March 26th .The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar with Benediction taking place in church at 2:00 p.m.  The final date will be on Sunday, June 11th.  Both of these will also begin at the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday with Benediction to conclude the period of adoration at 2:00 p.m.
