We want to communicate more effectively with you. But we also want to make it easy for you to control what types of announcements you get from us and how you are notified when we make them. And in order to do this we are using a new, simple service called flocknote. Like sending “notes” to your “flock”. Flocknote. It’s totally free for you to use and it’s going to make it easy for you to stay plugged in to the ministries or groups that you care about via text message or email updates. And don’t worry, your information is completely safe and secure. It will, of course, not be sold or rented to third parties. And you can unsubscribe at any time!
At the beginning of Holy Week, all registered parishioners who have provided us with an email address will receive an email containing a reminder about the dates and times of the liturgies of the Sacred Triduum and Easter. At that time, you may choose to sign into flocknote to:
- Join any of our groups that apply to you—flocknote will walk you through signing up and joining any of our groups from which you are interested in receiving communications. For example, if you are a member of the liturgical choir, join that group –OR— join a new group, and the person in charge of that group or ministry will contact you. That’s it! It’s a great opportunity for you to get plugged in to the many wonderful things we have going on here.
- Also, if you choose to sign into flocknote you may provide a cell phone number if you prefer to receive communications via text messaging.
If you prefer not to receive basic communications about liturgical events, you may click “unsubscribe” found at the top of the email.
Once you receive the first email, if you have any questions, please email: email@example.com. Thank you for participating. This is really going to simplify communication and increase engagement here in our community.
