We Mourn the Loss of our Founding Principal, Sister Mary Patricia Fallon, O.S.B.

The community of St. James the Apostle mourns the loss of our founding principal, Sister Mary Patricia Fallon, O.S.B. She served our school and parish with love and dedication and even after her retirement, she remained a beloved member of our family. Sister Patricia could usually be found among us at the joyful celebrations hosted throughout the years. Her obituary follows:

 

Sister Mary Patricia Fallon, OSB. Born on November 30, 1926, died on March 12, 2016. Loving daughter of the late Patrick and late Marie; dearest sister of Ann McGovern Conrad and the late Mary Stenson, John, Rev. Martin, Thomas, James, Edward, Irene Gamboney and Patrick, Jr. Fallon; beloved Aunt Dolly of over one hundred fifty nieces and nephews. Welcoming and Visitation for Sr. Patricia will be on Tuesday, March 15, 12:30 p.m. till time of Prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Monastery 1910 Maple, Lisle. IL 60532. Mass of Resurrection and Burial on Wednesday, March 16, 11:00 a.m. at the Monastery. Interment St. Scholastica Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Retirement Fund of the Benedictine Sisters.
